Quit playing the "Epics"
I saw Get The Led Out - Tribute Band open for Rainbow in 1982 or so and since then, 5 times. I love them. Your song catalog is strong enough to let you tear the roof off any venue without resorting to the 15 minute epics. In the interest of getting a better show for the fans on the rest of the tour, guys, please stop playing the long, long songs where it looks like you play them because you need a breather. I left before the encore. I should've stayed while "Aces High" started. I heard another epic start and was glad I'd left. The sound was pretty bad too but I doubt that was Maiden's fault. Despite performing in daylight and trying to do his campy, fun stage show in the light, Alice Cooper stole the show (and I'm not a big fan of Alice's). Orianthi absolutely shredded, I was REALLY impressed with her.
